It was in 2007 when we, Andrea and Pasquale, passionately developed the dream of founding our own daycare. We turned this dream into reality and established Blüemli Daycare. Our goal was to create a place where children are not only cared for but also lovingly supported and guided individually.

Since 2009, Blüemli Daycare has been an integral part of Witikon. From the beginning, our goal has been to provide a family-like atmosphere where children feel safe and at home. Every child is unique, and we place great importance on nurturing their talents and providing an environment where they can thrive.

Andrea – Director of Blüemli Daycare
I, Andrea, have been leading Blüemli Daycare with energy and passion since its founding. My diverse training and experience enrich my work:

After completing secondary school with a Matura, I trained as a dental technician, attended business school, and later completed training as a Childcare Specialist EFZ and Vocational Trainer. Additionally, I deepened my expertise through training as a Certified Daycare Director, which also includes management and leadership certificates (SVF).

This broad experience enables me to provide both educational and organizational support to ensure the best possible care and development for the children.

Pasquale – Marketing & Infrastructure
I, Pasquale, support the work of my wife Andrea and our daughter Laura. My focus is on marketing, advertising, and the daycare’s online presence. Additionally, I handle minor maintenance tasks and assist wherever needed.

With my training as an architect and IT specialist, I contribute valuable skills to the further development of the daycare. A caring environment and thoughtful spatial design play an important role in child development. That is why I ensure that Blüemli Daycare continuously evolves to provide children with an inspiring environment.

Laura – Educational Director & Language Development
Our daughter Laura is a central part of our daycare family. She began working at the daycare right after school and developed a deep passion for early childhood care.

After completing her successful bilingual education and a language stay in Oxford, which earned her the Cambridge C1 English certificate, she pursued further training to become a daycare director, which she successfully completed. Additionally, she holds a vocational trainer qualification and is responsible for training our apprentices.

A Milestone: Our Forest Group
In 2017, we established our forest group. This group reflects our belief that nature plays a significant role in child development.

Children experience the forest daily, strengthen their motor skills, and explore the world in their own way. They learn to move freely in nature, experience different weather conditions, and develop an awareness of the environment.

These experiences are not only educational but also boost children’s confidence and nurture their curiosity about the world.
